It seems like you covered all the bases on the low end (overrun) conditions, but I wonder how much flow the stock supply and return lines can deal with? I'd guess the stock size lines may restrict 510l/hr (from 2 woblero :-) 255s). Of course that only becomes an issue when the CM runs them up at full speed, but it could lead to cavitation and ultimately shorten the pump(s) life. On the last 2 1Js we built, 1 in a 240 and 1 in a MKIII supra, we used the Aeromotive Eliminator with 100 micron pre and 10 micron post filters, combined with their voltage regulating pump controller to avoid heating the fuel and over running the regulator at low loads. They claim it can provide 800l/hr @ 50 psi @ 13.5VDC. We burnt up a couple pumps trying to properly size the supply and return lines. First we tried using the suply line and the vent line for supply and the return line remained, but that was too choked. Then, we went to AN8 supply and used the stock return and vent lines. That pump lasted a few months, Finally we went to AN10 supply and used the AN8 for return. We had bore the fuel rail and weld larger fittings on it too. What have you found on the stock lines?
